2. Avoid using click-bait titles

Facebook announced not too long ago that they are going to start cracking down on what they are referring to as “click-bait” posts. Using an algorithm that weighs the number of clicks your post receives and the amount of time that the person spends on the site, they claim to be able to pinpoint what posts are click bait and which ones are not. Keep yourself from being hidden from your customers by aiming to avoid click-baiting altogether.

3. Use photos to your advantage

It’s long been known that users are more drawn to content containing a photo than content that is strictly text based. If you’re looking to reach the most customers possible, you should be including photos as much as possible. Facebook also recently made it possible to include multiple photos in a post rather than adding to an album. Use this to your advantage as well. The more time a user spends on your content, the more likely they are to remember your brand and become a potential customer.

4. Conduct a giveaway

If you’re a brand that has a product to give away, this is an excellent way to expand your audience. Everyone loves free gifts, so offering something to your fans for free is a surefire way to reach more people. Your followers will share with their friends who will in turn share with their friends. Giveaways are one way that you can reach more people, stay within your budget, and create evangelists out of your preexisting audience. You get marketing and they get something for free – it’s a win-win for everyone.
